Shop Easy
The card gives you access to POS terminals in merchant establishments in Mauritius and around the world. The POS limit is MUR 200,000/- per day.

Fast Cash
A service which enables you to withdraw your preferred amounts with just a touch. Options available: MUR 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000.

Pin Change
Use this service to change your password at regular intervals.

Balance Enquiry
Expecting an inflow of funds in your account? Use this service to check your current available balance.

Mini Statement
Stay informed about your account activity with our Mini Statement service, which provides a convenient overview of your last 10 transactions.

Green PIN
Bank of Baroda has discontinued the dispatch of PIN mailers as part of our green initiative. Customers can now conveniently set their ATM PIN themselves at any Bank of Baroda ATM in Mauritius by following these steps:

  • Step 01: Select "Create New PIN" on the ATM screen.
  • Step 02: Select your preferred language (English or French).
  • Step 03: Enter your valid Bank of Baroda Account Number and re-enter it to confirm.
  • Step 04: Enter your 11-digit registered Mobile Number and re-enter it to confirm.
  • Step 05: Input the 4-digit One-Time Password (OTP) received on your registered Mobile Number and confirm.
  • Step 06: Create your new 4-digit ATM PIN.

Blocking the Stolen/Missing ATM Debit Card

Customers can call 2081505 / 2083893 (during office hours), or the hotline numbers after office hours and weekends:
Cardholders in Mauritius: 8974 | Outside Mauritius: +230 5 895 8974
Please provide your card number/account number and verify your identity for blocking the card.
You may also contact your home branch.
For customers using Internet or Mobile Banking, instant card blocking is available by authenticating with your valid MPIN and Transaction Password.

ATM Security Tips:
12 Golden Rules to keep your ATM transactions safe and secure:

  • Please sign on the reverse of the card immediately on receipt.
  • Change your ATM PIN regularly.
  • Never keep the PIN with the debit card or write on it — always memorize it.
  • Do not provide your ATM card and PIN details to anyone, including Bank/Govt. agencies, family, or friends.
  • Do not let strangers enter the ATM room or assist you with transactions.
  • Hide the keypad while entering your PIN at ATM/POS terminals.
  • Do not throw your transaction slip in the ATM room — it contains your account information.
  • Always wait till the ATM returns to idle mode and the green light blinks.
  • Insist on swiping your card in your presence at hotels, shops, or malls.
  • Never swipe your card at POS machines at unknown or temporary stalls.
  • Block and destroy your old card when you get a new one. Register your mobile number for SMS alerts.
  • Hotlist your card immediately if lost.

Do's and Don'ts of ATM Transactions

Do's:

  • Conduct your ATM transactions in complete privacy; never let anyone see your PIN.
  • After completing a transaction, ensure the welcome screen is displayed.
  • Ensure your current mobile number is registered with the bank for transaction alerts.
  • Beware of suspicious movements or strangers near the ATM.
  • Check that the card returned by the merchant is yours.
  • Look for any suspicious devices attached to the ATM.
  • Inform the bank immediately if your ATM/Debit card is lost or stolen.
  • Check transaction alerts and bank statements regularly.
  • If cash is not dispensed and the ATM does not display "cash out," report it immediately.
  • Check your phone for SMS debit alerts immediately after a transaction.

Don'ts:

  • Do not write your PIN on the card — memorize it.
  • Do not take help from strangers or hand over your card.
  • Do not disclose your PIN to anyone, including bank employees or family.
  • Do not allow your card to go out of sight during payments.
  • Avoid speaking on your mobile phone while transacting.
